In cooperation with Dr. Karl Peter Breuer of the Gordon Institute in Germany she has organised in 1995 the last lecture and seminar trip of Dr. Thomas Gordon with his wife Linda Adams within the scope of the CSA association which was founded by her in 1978 and led up to its cancellation in 2003. From 1979 on she visited the INTA congresses in the USA and was invited to these since 1982 as a lecturer. As a successor of K.O. Schmidt she represented the INTA (International New Thought Alliance) in the German-speaking countries from 1979 to 1994 and organised and led as a chairperson the first European INTA congress in 1983 in Frankfurt / Main with her team, her group and seminar leaders. Three years after the passing away of her very beloved and respected husband she took up her seminar activity again in 2007. Because she lives in the winter half-year in California, she starts in April 2008 with TeleSeminars, to remain in dialogue with her friends in the German-speaking countries and to allow a contact with her to the newly interested.

And that’s the way it started…

Rosemarie Schneider-Bassett was a chief secretary in a building company, personal assistant of the management in a life insurance company and for nine years secretary of the “Hessenschau” editorial staff in the German Television (ARD) in Frankfurt, before she became active with her own enterprises.

After a deep life-crisis in 1972 Rosemarie Schneider contemplated for five years about the book “The Power of the Soul” by Roy Eugene Davis. This book is a comment of the author to the Yoga-Sutras of Patanjali. Based on the growing understanding and deep insight in the spiritual laws she mastered in this time once more her life with the courage to self-responsibility. Due to the consistent exercise of the learned she found again to a healthy and fulfilled life.

Positive experiences with her self-activation and recovered health moved her to let other people participate in her knowledge and experiences and to encourage them by seminars and lectures to walk on their own way to the development of their innate potential and for the freeing of their mind from obstacles. This basis of own experiences and her motivation led to the foundation of the CSA Centre for Self-activation in 1978, which was approved by the city Bad Homburg as a public-benefit organisation up to its cancellation in 2003.

The Creation of CSA

In 1978 Rosemarie Schneider-Bassett founded with friendly doctors the association CSA (Centre for Self-Activation) which was approved by the city of Bad Homburg as a public-benefit organisation, and led it for 25 years. In 1978 she founded the publishing company CSA as well. The purpose of both enterprises is to transmit knowledge, experiences and exercises for holistic health and personality development in word and writing.

Because she had experienced the great value of literature about self-activation, she committed herself to publish valuable writings in German. At first these were the books of Roy Eugene Davis who became her teacher. With him she carried out joint lectures and seminars in Germany, Austria and in Switzerland. Later on the works of Ernest Holmes and other authors were added. Roy Eugene Davis accompanied her development for ten years with active support.

By her lectures, seminars and workshops as well as by her articles in the CSA-Magazine edited by her she transmitted her inspiring experiences to many people in Central Europe. Extensive contributions of her were also published in the collections edited by Guenter Alfred Furtenbacher in the publishing company CSA.

In addition to the German-speaking space her work found recognition in other European countries as well as in the USA, in Mexico, Brazil, in the Ukraine and in Russia. She lectured on many international congresses. Her works were translated in English, in Russian, in Portuguese and in Spanish. The biggest congresses with international participation created and organised by her took place: in 1983 in the New Old Opera in Frankfurt, in 1987 and 1992 in the health resort house of Bad Homburg.
